7. Installation & Operating Positions
Secure using 2× M2 screws through Φ2.2 mm mounting holes. Screw torque ≤ 0.16 N·m. Use mounting washers. Do not allow adhesive or fixing agent to contact actuator mechanism.
In free state (C-NC closed), actuator lever must not contact push button. Button remains in Free Position (F.P.) under its own spring force. For correct switching, apply >1.95 N vertical downward force at P.T. + 2/3 O.T., or press to Total Travel Position (TTP) at 1.95~40 N.
- Disconnect power before installation, removal, wiring, or maintenance.
- Match switch load rating to application — using high-current switch for micro-load affects contact reliability.
- Precision device — incorrect force on push button or leaf will cause damage. Apply force perpendicular to button axis only.
- Do not exceed 40 N mechanical load on actuator.

9. Frequently Asked Questions
Is this switch suitable for high-vibration environments?
Yes. The KWQM4-4Z series meets GJB 360B-2009 sinusoidal vibration standards (10~2000 Hz, 15 g) and random vibration (0.04~1.0 g²/Hz ASD, 119.5 m/s² Grms, Grade D). The all-welded metal shell construction ensures mechanical integrity under sustained vibration.
Can I use this switch for micro-current applications?
For low-current applications, we recommend models C (0.5A) and F (0.5A). However, the manufacturer advises: "Using a high-current rated switch for micro-current applications will affect contact reliability and may cause poor contact." Please match the switch load rating to your actual application load.
What is the difference between DC and AC temperature ratings?
Several models in this series support both DC (28V) and AC 400Hz operation. The original supplier datasheet specifies different temperature ranges for each mode — for example, Model N operates at -184°C to +125°C on AC 400Hz, and -65°C to +125°C on DC. Always refer to the specific electrical code for your application.
Are RoHS, REACH, or conflict mineral declarations available?
Please contact our sales team for current compliance documentation. As a Hong Kong-based supplier serving international markets, we can provide declarations upon request for volume orders: [email protected].
Can I get samples before placing a volume order?
Yes. Samples are available for qualified inquiries. MOQ for production orders is 50–200 pcs depending on the specific model. Standard lead time is 7–15 business days. Contact us with your application requirements for sample pricing and availability.
